SUBJECT: Signalink Fire-Link II system
To Whom It May Concern:
I could not pass up this opportunity to let you know how pleased we are with our new audible upgrade to a very old facility. We were notified by our Safety office that there were areas of concern with the fire warning bell system in our county court house. The decibel readings were lower than required causing some complaints. Under certain circumstances, the existing horns and strobes were not being heard and/or seen in remote areas of the court house. As you well know, these older buildings made of sandstone and granite are extremely difficult to run wire in with the lack of drop ceilings, wire chases, things that were not a necessity when the building was designed and constructed which presented us with a challenge both physically and economically.
We came across your product while searching for a solution to our problem. With a presentation from Trent Keller and some information we were on our way to a time and material solution that was very economical.
With 2 men, the entire system was installed in a day, programming the system to work with our existing fire alarm panel took about 15 minutes, and the end result was even better than we expected. This product saved us thousands of dollars compared to running wire, making new zones and expanding our current fire panel to accept all of this. For less than $3,500, we not only solved the issues at hand, but we were left with an option for future additions with only the cost of the Signal Link A/V units and the screws to hold them in place. This is definitely a better answer than an estimated cost of over $10,000 and being limited in the scope of the expansion.
In closing, I look forward to working with you on our other buildings as upgrades and issues arise, it’s a great cost saving innovation that works!
Sincerely,
Chuck Miller, Building Maintenance Foreperson,

I want to thank Signalink Technologies for providing me with a Fire-Link system. The 18 unit apartment building I own required a fire alarm audibility upgrade as a condition to it’s sale. The Fire-Link system was delivered and installed in matter of days with no delay completing the sale.
The fire-link system in-suite devices were installed easily into receptacle and affixed to the wall using the build in mounting plate. Residents were very happy with the installation of the in-suite devices because it quickly improved life safety and didn’t leave a big mess to clean up typically seen with any type of construction.
Fire-Link was the perfect choice for my needs. The price was right, installation was easy and sale of my building was far less complicated having avoided a rushed construction project and potentially impacting the selling price of my building.

I would like to take this opportunity to comment on our installation of the Fire-Link II product. I have worked in the fire alarm retrofit business ffor over 20 years and have never been more impressed with the ease of installation and reliability of this product.
There was a time when in-suite horns were installed by running conduit and wire throughout the building requiring extensive labour. Drilling through walls, floors, defacing corridors and suites with unsightly conduit is now a thing of the past. Due to the added electrical load of the in-suite mini-horns we would often be forced to replace or modify the existing fire alarm panel. All of the above work would take weeks if not months to complete depending on the size of the building.
Fortunately, with the Fire-Link II product, we can install a typical system with 1 or 2 days with no impact on the aesthetics of the building. Additionally, we have never been required to replace an existing buildings fire alarm panels as the Fire-Link product provides its own battery backup system.
The Fire-Link II in-suite devices are sturdy, serviceable and unobtrustive. Even with all these benefits, the product is surprisingly affordable compared to the "old" traditional method described above.
Thank you for developing sucha quality product. I look forward to working on our next project together.
Yours sincerely,
Mircom Engineering Systems

Dear Logan
On the evening of July 25th, the fire alarms went off at Mission Park Place, triggered by dust in the smoke detector. We had the best turn over ever of tenants, who were alerted by their in-suite alarms. Only ONE tenant did not evacuate. The tenant of 113 slept right through the alarms as hers was the only unit that did not have the protection of the FIRE-LINK system. she would certainly like to buy one now and I would be grateful if you could arrange for the purchase and installation of an ISD in Suite 113.
Yours truly,

Dear Trent:
I am preparing the quote for the Property Manager this morning. Our biggest issue is how we are going to run the conduit. I believe we have a solution to this. I will call you and let you know the result of the board of directors as soon as they make it. We will move forward to preparing the submittal package for the fire alarm permit. I believe they stressed that they wanted to start this installation by May or June of this year, due to the repairs they have to do to the stairwell at the beach side of the building.
Thank you, I can't say enough about the great support your company has shown us. It is to be commended. Signalink is truly a first class company.
